Increasing Brand Awareness with teclan
Problem
Simpsons Garden Centre are one of the largest garden centres in the north of Scotland, with locations both in Inverness and Aberdeen. They have a number of different departments spread over both locations and approached teclan to help promote certain areas of their business within the local communities. These included their cabins, restaurants, furniture, florists and more. They wanted to both increase awareness and branding within the geography whilst also be top on Google ads for a number of terms.
Solution
Following meetings to fully understand Simpson’s needs, teclan created a Google Ads plan utilising Search, YouTube and Display ads to cover the local areas with branded imagery whilst ensuring Simpsons were appearing for all of the relevant search terms across all of the departments. For the garden centre business, it was essential that seasonality of products was accounted for and we continue to pivot our strategy based on the season to maximise exposure to the products that are most likely to sell.
Outcome
Simpsons saw an increase in footfall to their locations driven by the local awareness campaigns. On top of this their YouTube channel grew significantly with relevant subscribers in the local area. By working with teclan, Simpsons management have saved countless hours of time creating, launching, monitoring and optimising campaigns across a number of Google Ads products.
